주제 : Microcavity Polaritons and Light–Matter Interaction in Solution-Processed Perovskite Microstructures
발 표 요 약 :
This talk will introduce the basic physics of light–matter interaction in semiconductor microcavities, with emphasis on excitons, dielectric mirrors, exciton–photon coupling, exciton-polaritons, and polariton lasing. Starting from the fundamentals of excitonic states and optical transitions, the talk will discuss how photonic confinement and strong coupling give rise to hybrid quasiparticles with mixed light–matter character. The presentation follows the conceptual flow from exciton fundamentals and Bragg reflectors to polariton dispersion, perovskite materials, and confined polariton states.
As an example material platform, solution-processed CsPbBr₃ microstructures will be introduced for the realization of microcavity polariton devices. Selected experimental results will be briefly presented, including cavity integration using transferable DBRs, room-temperature polariton formation, polarization-dependent dispersion associated with birefringence and TE–TM splitting, and laterally confined polariton modes in ribbon-like structures. Through these examples, the talk aims to provide an accessible overview of how photonic engineering and excitonic materials can be combined to explore and control polariton physics in micro- and nanoscale systems.
